Institutional relations in India
Prof. Sunny Luke leads his retirement life in Kerala, India, helping institutions of higher learning to upgrade their curricula, mediating international institutional collaborations for the internationalization of their campuses, and developing split-country programs with Indian and foreign universities, mainly with the USA, UK, and Australia. He organizes and participates in various national and international seminars on cutting-edge technology in biomedicine.
His proactive role in developing international institutional collaborations started with Caritas College of Nursing, Kottayam, Kerala with Salford University, Manchester, UK. This partnership was established to promote cooperation in the field of nursing education and research. Some of the important joint ventures are faculty and student exchanges for research and teaching, conducting international seminars in both countries, and knowledge sharing. The most important advantage of this program is receiving Salford University Nursing students for short term international clinical practicum in Caritas Hospital and vice versa.
The role of Dr. Sunny Luke has facilitated academic cooperation between Mount Zion Group of Institutions and Oral Roberts University in the USA. As part of this cooperation, various twinning degree programs and Study USA programs are in the process of development. The photos show Prof. Dr. Sunny Luke and Dr. Abraham Kalammanil, CEO of Mount Zion Institutions, performing an academic audit of the various programs at Oral Roberts University.
